A surefire way to keep writer’s block at bay is to think about the scene you want to write, in bed, before you go to sleep. The next morning, write inspired by unremembered dreams.

Find actors who resemble your characters, imbue them with traits, and look at photos of them for inspiration as you write forward.

When stuck, spend 15 minutes online researching your scene location (a town, park, bar or room) to get the cursor moving again.

Add a Pomodoro time management app to your phone or computer to break down work into intervals (usually 25 minutes) separated by short breaks.
